Terms of Use
Effective 28 September 2026
The service
Tabi is a free app for planning and sharing a trip: bookings, places, routes, a vault for tickets and documents, and travel tools. There is no account; your device gets an anonymous member identity, and trips are shared with one-time invite codes. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Travel information
Tabi is a planning aid. Times, countdowns, walking routes, distances, durations, weather, exchange rates, translations and place details come from what you enter and from third-party services, and they can be wrong, out of date or unavailable. Always check with your airline, rail operator, hotel and other providers, and follow official signs and instructions. We are not responsible for a missed connection, booking or entry requirement.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to Tabi. You are responsible for it and for having the right to store and share it. Anything you add to a shared trip, other than vault items marked “Only on this phone”, is visible to and can be edited or deleted by every member of that trip. Only share an invite code with people you want on the trip. You give us permission to store, copy and transmit your content only as needed to run the service.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Tabi to break the law, to store or share content you have no right to, or to harass anyone. Don’t try to access trips you aren’t a member of, guess invite codes, overload or disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it to do any of these things. We may limit or remove access that puts the service or other people at risk.
Availability
Tabi works offline, but sharing needs our server. We work to keep it running but may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Keep your own copies of anything you can’t afford to lose, such as tickets and documents.
No warranty
Tabi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, bookings or travel costs, arising from your use of Tabi. Because Tabi is free, our total liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Tabi or its support, and your use of the app is also subject to the App Store’s terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that can’t be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we will change the date above, and continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].
